Some stay in a tube longer than expected. Others are placed on a wall almost immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The difference isn\u2019t always in the image itself, but in how clearly it holds its place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When a print holds its own<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A print that feels resolved \u2014 balanced, stable, with a clear sense of space \u2014 tends to invite framing. It doesn\u2019t rely on context to work. Once placed behind glass, it becomes more defined, not diminished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When it depends on its surroundings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Others feel more dependent on their surroundings. They might work well in certain conditions, but lose something when isolated. Framing, in those cases, can make that imbalance more visible rather than correcting it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A question of commitment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Framing a print fixes it in place \u2014 not permanently, but enough to make it part of a space. Some images hold up to that. Others feel better when they remain flexible, easy to move, not fully decided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scale<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Smaller prints often benefit from the structure a frame provides. It gives them presence. Larger formats can sometimes hold their own without it, depending on how they\u2019re placed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Time<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Time is usually a good indicator. A print that still feels right after a few days, that you come back to without thinking, is often the one worth framing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Framing doesn\u2019t make a print better.
