There’s a version of this post that starts with an apology. We’re not going to write that one.<\/p>\n
The truth is simpler: summer arrived, and with it, less to say. Not less to do \u2014 the studio kept moving, prints kept drying, orders kept going out \u2014 but less that felt worth putting into words. Writing for the sake of writing has never been the point here.<\/p>\n
A pause like that can feel like a failure of discipline, at first. Then it starts to feel like something else: a kind of respect for the reader, and for the work. Better to say nothing than to fill a page with a post that doesn’t earn its place.<\/p>\n
What changes, coming back, isn’t the ambition. It’s the pace. A few weeks away from the blank page tend to reset what feels urgent to say. Some of the ideas that felt important in May don’t anymore. A few new ones showed up instead, mostly from long afternoons in the studio with the windows open and not much else happening.<\/p>\n
So this is less a return than a continuation, picked back up where it made sense to. More notes coming \u2014 some about the work, some about what surrounds it. Thanks for still being here.<\/p>\n
